Parkonect: How to Update Firmware on Gen 2 via Thumbdrive

HOW TO UPDATE FIRMWARE ON GEN 2 VIA THUMBDRIVE

At times you will need to update your firmware on a Gen 2 terminal. To do so after receiving the thumb drive you'll take the following steps.

1. Turn off the power.

2. Insert the thumb drive.

3. Turn the power back on.

At this point, the terminal will restart and you will see on the touchscreen that the unit is updating.

This will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Once complete, the unit will return to normal operations.

Remove the thumb drive and keep or reuse it as needed.
