HOW TO POWERCYCLE A DOOR CONTROLLER

At times you will need to powercycle a door reader in order to reconnect the device to your network. To do so you will need to press the power button located in figure 2c as seen below and the startup sequence should take 2-3 minutes. After which, the screen should display "Please Scan Pass". Please let us know if that resolves the issue or if further troubleshooting is necessary.

For older units you will need to unplug the internal power cable and plug back in as seen below.
