CiteBlocks that are By Location will display a warning or a block anytime a violation is entered for the selected location. Users can toggle between active, inactive, warning, block and all. Please note that only one CiteBlock is supported per location. If multiple CiteBlocks are entered, the application will automatically consider the most recently entered CiteBlock.
Click the green plus icon to add a new CiteBlock, users will then be prompted to choose between Warn or Block.
Warning allows the officer to continue issuing a violation after a warning message is displayed on the application where the block will not allow the officer to go forward with the violation process.
If you are viewing by location, then a Location will need to be selected from the dropdown. The CiteBlock will only appear when a customer is trying to park in the location set here. Note that only one location can be selected per CiteBlock.
Users can choose to have the CiteBlock last all day or repeat, if All Day is selected then a date range will need to be entered below.
If Repeats is selected then Repeat occurrence, Date and Time will need to be entered along with choosing the date it should Start On and End On. Users can choose to end After a number of occurrences if they please. A Summary will appear after the selections have been chosen.
Notes will need to be entered here so that the officer viewing the block will know why or how to proceed. This note will appear in the application when the officer sees that the location has a CiteBlock setup.
Once you have populated the information, click the green plus icon in the popup to Add New CiteBlock or select the middle green icon to Save and Add Other, this can be used when adding multiple CiteBlocks in one sitting. Click the red Close icon to cancel out the new record.
