This section allows the user to search for vehicles in Scofflaw by License Plate and Creation Method.

The Plate field is not required but the Creation Method is. 

The options are:

• Manual Only - Vehicles placed in Scofflaw by someone in the BackOffice

• System Only - Vehicles placed in Scofflaw automatically due to the criteria being met

• All - Both types listed above

EDIT CURRENT SCOFFLAW 

Use the gear icon to edit the current scofflaw for a plate.

• Primary Tag – Usually this is a license plate. It could also be a permit/hangtag number, VIN or other entry.  

  • When the lot attendant presses check plate/tag and enters the primary tag, they will see this scofflaw message. 

• Secondary Tag – Currently unused by the enforcement software 

• Action – this is the name of the message that The lot attendant will see.  To see the actual Message, look up the message in ‘Scofflaw Actions’. 

• Expiration – When the message should delete itself.

  • If blank, the message will remain until deleted. 

• Stop System Scofflaw – Plates may now have multiple Scofflaw entries.  If checked, this scofflaw message Will prevent system entries from generating additional entries. This is useful in the case of VIPs or other positive scofflaw messages. 

• Warn On Multiple Actions – When an admin user attempts to enter more than 1 message about this plate, should the system display a warning?  This is useful to stop the user from inadvertently entering multiple scofflaw messages about a plate.
