The Flash validation system permits users to generate validation barcodes, typically through the Flash Validation portal, with a print limit of 120 per print job. However, in situations where there's an exceptionally high volume of validation printing, the FlashApp can be employed to print up to 500 validation barcodes in a single session.
This application is commonly used in conjunction with a Windows Surface Go tablet, and it allows for printing using any compatible personal printer.
You can download the Flash App onto a Windows-based PC, bypassing the need for a Surface Go tablet. However, it's essential to note that Flash cannot offer support if you download the application on a device other than the Surface Go tablet we provide. To proceed with this alternative, a signed waiver is required.
Pre-requisites
Downloaded Flash app Windows Surface Go tablet
- Flash App User account with Bulk Validation access (Bulk Validation can only be enabled by Flash Support)
- A Validation Account set up and linked to the applicable validation prices
How to generate bulk validations
Log into the Flash App with provided user account credentials.
Select the “Validations” tab.
Next to the Validator Account field, click on the search icon.
Type in the name of the validator account for the printed validations to be associated with, and click “Find”.
Select the validator account and click the “OK” button.
Select a Label Type.
Select a Price.
Set the amount of Validations to print on the “Quantity” field.
From the Expiry Date field, leave the checkbox empty if you want the validations not to expire, or mark the checkbox and set an expiry date if you want the validations to expire in a certain period of time
Click “OK”
Set the name of the file to be downloaded and click “Save”
Open the downloaded file.
